Just two days after launching our campaign to cover the cost of a defibrillator and installation, we achieved our fundraising target of £2,000, which will allow us to acquire two defibrillators.

Special thanks to local resident Gilly Smith, who donated generously in memory of her late husband, and to Stuart Chapman.

At our request, the new managers Nathan and Adam of the Roundhill pub at 100 Ditchling Road, got permission from their brewery as the property landlord to house the first defibrillator on an exterior wall of the pub. The second will be sited (thanks to Dafydd) at the Park Crescent Public House at 39 Park Crescent Terrace. The locations will serve both the north and the south of Round Hill and both defibrillators will have 24/7 public access.
